Welcome

Congratulations on becoming a member of Oxford High School’s FIRST® Robotics Competition Team!

The team’s goal is for each student, mentor, parent, and volunteer to find their experience with TEAM 2137 and the FIRST® organization rewarding and enjoyable. This guide is intended to give you an understanding of the robotics program at Oxford High School and the responsibilities that are expected in order to have a successful season, both in the classroom and at competition. In the following pages, you will find information relating to the team’s selection process, rules, guidelines, event organization, travel and more.

All students, mentors, parents, and volunteers should carefully review all the information explained in this handbook. If you have any questions about this document please do not hesitate to ask the Oxford High School Coach or Teacher Advisor. Please be aware that this information may change as we progress through the season.

Reading emails, registering for current year informational platforms, and attending meetings regularly are important in making sure all members and parents are up to date on all happenings within TEAM 2137.
